  2. Here’s a guy who spends every night bashing everything that’s wrong with the current government, Iraq, the financial meltdown, and Bush’s clothing choices. And he gets PAID to do it. Yet, he takes none of his own message to task on Election Day.  On The View today, Olbermann told the panel that, as a “symbolic gesture”, he doesn’t exercise his right to vote.

    Uh, isn’t his right to vote tied directly to the platform he uses to earn a living: freedom of speech and the press? You’d think that someone in his position might value that. Guess not.  Considering his show targets a more intellectual, more left-leaning, more issues-aware demographic, I am going to make a bet this hurts his ratings.

    As far as symbolic gestures go, here’s my suggestion: Never watch this idiot’s show again.
