Most of you know my mother passed away about three and a half years ago from pancreatic cancer. 37,000 Americans are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every year - a small number compared to those diagnosed with breast cancer, prostate cancer and others. Pancreatic cancer, however, is the deadliest type - only 5% of those diagnosed survive over 5 years.  Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pauch was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last fall, and his journey through his disease has become a national phenomenon.  Take a look at this video, as well as his book, The Last Lecture.
