BMW asks the question: Does the skin of a car need to be made from metal? The answer is a car - which has been built and runs - called GINA - who’s skin is made entirely of fabric. It opens up entirely new possibilities for the shape of vehicles that can change to the driver’s whim or in response to the driving environment. Wow.
